Acceptance of these terms

By using this website or submitting a request through it, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

What this service is

DFW Roof Price operates a website through which homeowners in the Dallas–Fort Worth area can request a free roof inspection. When you submit a request, we pass your details to one or more independent roofing contractors who serve your area, and one of them contacts you to arrange the inspection.

The inspection, the report, the estimate, and any roofing work that follows are performed by that independent contractor under a separate agreement between you and them. We are not a party to that agreement.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the owner of the property, or authorized by the owner to request work on it. You agree that the information you give us is accurate and that the telephone number you provide is one you are entitled to receive calls at.

No guarantee of outcome

We do not guarantee that a contractor will be available in your area, that an inspection will find damage, that an insurance claim will be approved, or that any particular repair cost or timeline will apply. Statements on this site about typical insurance outcomes are general information, not a promise about your policy.

Insurance coverage, deductibles, exclusions and claim deadlines are determined solely by your policy and your carrier.

Independent contractors

Contractors in our network are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents, partners, or joint venturers. We take reasonable steps to confirm that they carry the licensing and insurance they claim, but we do not supervise, direct, or control their work, and we are not responsible for it.

Any dispute about workmanship, pricing, scheduling, warranty, or damage is between you and the contractor.

Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false information, submit requests on behalf of someone who has not asked you to, scrape or copy the site, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The text, layout, graphics, and code on this site belong to DFW Roof Price and are protected by copyright. You may view and print pages for your own use. You may not republish, resell, or reproduce them without written permission.

Disclaimers

The site and the referral service are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, DFW Roof Price will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the site or from any dealings with a contractor.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the site or these terms will not exceed one hundred United States dollars (US$100).

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DFW Roof Price and its officers and employees from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of information you submitted, your breach of these terms, or your dealings with a contractor.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
