What we collect when you ask for a roof inspection, who we give it to, and how to get it back or have it deleted.

Who this policy covers
This policy explains what DFW Roof Price (“we”, “us”) does with information collected through this website and by telephone. It applies to homeowners who request a roof inspection, visitors who browse the site, and contractors who apply to join our network.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit an inspection request we collect your name, telephone number, property address, ZIP code, email address if you choose to provide one, and what you tell us about the roof — its approximate age and the problem you are experiencing.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites we log your IP
address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, the time and date of
your visit, the site that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived
through (for example utm_source).
Call information. Calls to or from our published telephone number may be recorded or monitored for quality and training. Where a call is recorded you will be told at the start of the call.
How we use it
- To arrange your free roof inspection and pass your request to a roofing contractor
- To contact you about that request by telephone, text message, or email
- To answer questions and provide customer support
- To measure which advertising and search terms produce genuine inquiries
- To detect and prevent fraudulent or duplicate submissions
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims
Who we share it with
Roofing contractors. The core purpose of this site is to connect homeowners with roofing contractors. When you submit an inspection request, the details you provided are transmitted to one or more independent licensed roofing contractors serving your area so that they can contact you and schedule the inspection. Those contractors are separate businesses and handle your information under their own privacy practices.
Service providers. We use third parties to run the website and our operations — hosting, form and lead routing software, telephone and text messaging providers, email delivery, and customer relationship management. They may process your information only on our instructions.
Advertising and analytics. We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta advertising tools. These providers may set cookies or receive identifiers that allow them to measure advertising performance and show you ads. See Your choices.
Legal. We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.
We do not sell your information to unrelated marketing list brokers.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your progress through the request form, measure traffic, and attribute inquiries to the advertising that produced them. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may stop parts of the site from working correctly.
We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because no common standard for them has been agreed. We do honor the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser sends one.
How long we keep it
We keep inspection requests for as long as needed to provide the service and then for a further period to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal and tax obligations — generally four years from your last interaction with us, unless a longer period is required by law. Website analytics data is retained on the schedule set in our analytics provider's configuration.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access — ask what personal information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to fix information that is wrong
- Deletion — ask us to delete your information
- Portability — ask for a copy in a portable format
- Opt out — of targeted advertising, of profiling, and of any sharing of your information that qualifies as a “sale” under your state's law
- Appeal — if we decline a request, you may appeal, and we will respond in writing with our reasoning
Texas residents hold these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws hold comparable rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
To make a request, email privacy@dfwroofprice.com or use the opt-out page. We will verify your identity before acting, and respond within 45 days.
Your choices about contact and ads
Telephone and text. Tell the caller you do not wish to be contacted again, or reply STOP to any text message.
Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
Advertising. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on, adjust Google ad personalization in your Google account, and adjust Meta ad settings in your Meta account.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and access to inspection requests is restricted to staff and contractors who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is for adult homeowners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be signposted on this page.
