Do Not Sell or Share My Information
How to stop us passing your details to contractors or advertising platforms, and how to exercise your other privacy rights.

What this page is for
Some state privacy laws give you the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information and of targeted advertising based on it. This page explains what that means here and how to exercise the right.
What “sale” and “sharing” mean here
We do not sell personal information to unrelated marketing list brokers.
However, two things we do may fall within the broad statutory definitions of “sale” or “sharing” in some states:
- When you submit an inspection request, we transmit your details to independent roofing contractors, and we receive compensation from those contractors.
- We use advertising and analytics cookies from Google and Meta that let those companies receive identifiers associated with your visit for advertising measurement and targeting.
You can opt out of both.
How to opt out
1. Advertising cookies. Enable the Global Privacy Control signal in a browser or extension that supports it. We honor that signal automatically. You can also clear and block cookies in your browser settings.
2. Sharing with contractors, and every other request. Email privacy@dfwroofprice.com with the subject line Opt Out. Include:
- Your full name
- The property address or telephone number you used when you contacted us
- Which right you are exercising — opt out, access, correction, deletion, or portability
- The state you live in
Note that if you opt out of sharing with contractors, we will not be able to arrange an inspection for you, because passing your request to a contractor is how the service works.
Verification and timing
We will ask you to confirm details that match what we hold, so that we do not act on a request from someone impersonating you. We aim to acknowledge requests within 10 days and to complete them within 45 days. If we need more time we will tell you why before the 45 days is up.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent. We will ask for written proof of the authorization and, unless the agent holds a valid power of attorney, we will also verify your identity directly.
If we say no
If we decline your request you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing privacy@dfwroofprice.com with the subject line Appeal. We will respond in writing within 60 days explaining our reasoning. If the appeal is denied, Texas residents may contact the Office of the Texas Attorney General to submit a complaint.
